Anyone watching the football game yesterday between the Cardinals and the Packers certainly had a treat watching the game, especially the finish. We had a few friends over and I had made a full compliment of snacks and treats for us to watch the game, but as it entered overtime, we forgot about the food and devoted our full attention to the incredible game. Our home theater is a wonderful thing, and yesterday we really appreciated the high quality display and sound. The LCD widescreen HDTV gave us a brilliant picture and we enjoyed every minute of this nail biter of a game. Last spring we bit the bullet and upgraded our home theater with the widescreen HDTV and we have enjoyed it immensely ever since. We spent almost nothing on entertainment outside the home since we got it and have found that the new technology embedded in today's home theaters gives us so many options for playing our console games, watching Internet TV, and enjoying high quality DVDs. But next weekend our home theater will be tuned to the football games as we go through the playoffs and hopefully the Cardinals will make it to the Super Bowl once again.
