game console, home theaterWhen I got wind there is a chance the Portland Trail Blazers will face the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the NBA playoffs starting this Sunday my palms got a little bit sweaty. I love the Suns. They have been my team since going to college in Arizona. The run and gun offense captivated me because it made a fast game even quicker. While they have fallen flat in past seasons when the post season comes around I see them doing better this year. My friend is a diehard Portland supporter. For most of the season, I was sure his team would not make it past the regular season with their tendency to be injured.

Now if the remaining games go right they will face the Suns first round. This is what I hope happens. The Blazers will be there most likely playing either Phoenix, Utah or Denver right off the bat. This is a huge step up from the off chance they play the Lakers, which by the way they beat this past Sunday after Kobe missed two last second free throws.

Before talking any trash come playoffs I want a better idea of who would win such a match if the Suns hosted the Blazers. I turned to my game console, a current NBA video game and home theater for answers. My game console has allowed me to play near identical in roster matches between the two teams. With the home theater turned up and the clarity of our LCD widescreen HDTV, this video game can at times seem like a real broadcasted game.

I beat the Portland AI every time on the game console but lost once after facing a formidable online opponent who clearly played this title much more then me. I’m confident after this game console experiment Phoenix would make second round if they faced Portland first. This is huge news for Suns fans. I still want to get one last look over at Home Online Direct at http://www.homeonlinedirect.com/ to see if they have any home theater electronics that would be useful for NBA playoff time. This is the time of the year I could not be happier to have bought a LCD widescreen HDTV about 6 months prior. Sports and high definition should never be separated again. Keep an eye out on how the NBA Western Conference turns out. There is still much work to be done before we get to the conference championships.
