He had a projector. That was the beginning of my home theater envy.

My brother-in-law has a true home theater. He's even got the theater chairs going for him. His home theater is located in his entire basement and his home is a mansion. With a state-of-the-art sound system and a movie projector that shoots at a movie screen, he doesn't even have to go to the movies. With his connections, he can also find the latest and greatest movies- before they hit the movie theaters.

I'd imagine his home theater is close to what Steven Spielberg has got. The great thing about his home theater is that it actually feels like a theater. His chairs are the red classic kind that flips up and down. He's even got a vintage popcorn machine in the back of the theater to add that buttery popcorn smell.

It's loads of fun hanging out at his home theater. He claims he only uses it for parties. With a home theater like that, you could start renting it out for parties. Perhaps, one day, I could own a home theater like his.
