Between short vacations, business trip, helping a friend move and trying to fit work in wherever possible I’m working hard to save money where I can. It would be nice to say that these four trips over a 5-week time span aren’t going to break the bank but I know they will. So instead of going out and spending money I am planning to use the game console a lot more and instead of watching the NBA playoffs at a bar, I’ll do it in our living room in front of a LCD widescreen HDTV.  I don’t think this is a bad thing either.

Video games and home theater entertainment are two of my favorite ways to relax. It just so happens they are also extremely cost effective. After the initial online home theater and video game purchases, it really isn’t expensive to keep the at home media experience going especially for those who find a nice deal at an ecommerce store. Technology has really made it simple to find things to do.
