game console, lcd widescreen hdtvThrowing my arms up high into the air, the morning sun cut through the blinds but not to the degree I had become accustomed to this spring season. On further investigation the light shining through was not direct sun but the brightness of the morning reflecting off the white thick clouds above. After opening my sliding bedroom window, the smell of potential rain wafted in and gave me the chills. A quick weather outlook online showed me there was a 75 percent chance of rain by the mid afternoon. With work off and prior plans to go on a short hike or at least jog in the area I started to rethink my game plan to have a roof over my head the entire day. The LCD widescreen HDTV was looking a lot more enticing.

Powering up the home theater, I got down on my knees to see what disc was in the game console tray. A first person shooting title I had found at an online retailer like Home Online Direct at http://www.homeonlinedirect.com/ showed its face as the tray slid open. Before investing some serious time on the game console, I went onto the patio to get further reassurance the days weather was going to bring spring showers. Cold and crisp outside, not a few seconds after sliding the glass patio door open did I see the first rain droplet patter off the railing. Then came another and another. The white clouds filling the sky had darkened since getting up and the heaven’s opened.

It was great to see the mid morning showers as the streets and natural life not to mention the California water tabled desperately needed it. Watching the street becoming shinning, I came back inside and sat back down in front of the LCD widescreen HDTV. Yep, today would be a great day to play the game console. The splattering of rain outside intensified and I turned up the home theater. Soon any sound of what was going on outside was lost behind the explosion of digital gunfire within the online match. Alerts barking out enemy positions and the assorted stories filled my headset speakers. This was just another great day in front of the game console. When the rain did stop I turned off the LCD widescreen HDTV and went on a nice jog smelling of dew and springtime bloom. It all worked out great and now I want to buy new game console accessories for the next rain shower.
