I always love this time of year when people start thinking about what they are going to give others for the holiday season. I love giving and seeing the smile on another persons face when they receive something that I've given them. That alone is a gift in itself for me.

My sister in law has already told me that they are going to be choosing game consoles for their girls this year, and asked if I could give her some insight on Nintendo game consoles and some of the other popular brands, so that they are sure to choose the game consoles that the girls will love the most.

Earlier this week I jotted a bit of information down about game consoles and I sent it across to her via e-mail. She called me within an hour of sending it and said that she had also forwarded the email to her husband and that they'd decided on choosing the Nintendo game consoles and couldn't decide if she wanted to get the smaller hand-held game consoles or a larger one that the entire family could play and enjoy. I suggested that she get a larger one and she said she'd let me know what they bought. She wanted to order the game consoles before everyone started doing all their Christmas shopping, so they would be guaranteed to get the Nintendo game consoles they wanted.

Surprisingly, the following day she called and said they'd decided on the Wii and that they had ordered it. I was happy to hear it, because I knew exactly what I was going to get her for Christmas, Wii video games. It definitely made my shopping for the holidays much easier as well, and I knew exactly which of the Wii video games I was going to get for the oldest of my nieces. She loves High School Musical and singing, so I knew that Disney Interactive High School Musical: Sing It! would be perfect for her. The great thing about this game is that it comes with a microphone for the Wii, which is going to be something that she thinks is very cool.
