For the last six months I have been putting together my home theater system. I started from scratch with a brand new 46" LCD widescreen TV and then moved on from there with Blu Ray players, video game consoles, and surround sound. I was missing two things.

The first part of my home theater that I was missing was a room to contain it all. It was in the living room of my home, but it really didn't work there. When I wanted to play a video game, or watch a movie, someone else wanted to watch TV or listen to music. So, it was something of a hit and miss to be able to use my home theater for the reason I bought it all; incredible experiences through game, movies, and sound.

This problem was fixed by converting a corner of my basement into my own home theater room. It was no big deal as we already had another plasma HDTV and DVD player. However, my second problem I had to take some time to fix. I needed a home theater stand.

Once the table arrived from Home Online Direct, putting it together was a breeze. I hooked everything up and spent the evening enjoying my completed home theater system. I did have to spend some time adjusting the surround sound speakers a little to get just the right sound, but in the end, my new room is perfect. It just might be a little too perfect. Now I have another problem. Now that the system is complete, I find myself running up and down the stairs too much! I think I will be adding a few more things like a microwave and small refrigerator. That would be the perfect finishing touch. It's all good.
