I bought my husband's Christmas present early this year because I found the perfect gift for him. He loves our home theater and is a TV junkie, so I thought that this portable 9" LCD TV would make a fantastic gift. We like to go camping on weekends and this has a rechargeable battery, so I think it will just thrill him to pieces. It GPX 9" Portable LCD Television and the price was quite reasonable. It also comes with a remote, so at least he won't have to learn to use the controls on the TV itself, something I think we've all forgotten how to do.
It's going to be handy to have a home theater along on our camping trips because we can catch the news and weather. He can also take this little home theater out to the garage, too, and while he's fixing something, he won't have to miss a single minute of his favorite TV shows. I know that the kids will use this as well, playing their game consoles when we're out camping or even riding in the car, getting to our destination. The quality of the playback will be as good as it is on our big LCD widescreen HDTV, which is very high.
Giving my husband something that he will love but doesn't even know he needs yet is my goal for every gift giving occasion. When I was searching online today, I found the portable TV and I knew the moment I saw it that he would love to have something like this as a home theater for the garage or the tent. He just has a radio in the garage now, so this should motivate him to spend more time out there on his hobbies. I found it at Home Online Direct located at http://www.homeonlinedirect.com, a website with lots of different electronics for the home theater and console games.
I'm glad I found the site because they have lots of Wii games, something I encourage the whole family to play as often as they like. Personally, I think the Wii games are the best thing since sliced bread because they are so much fun and they are also great exercise. They also are good for eye-hand coordination, something that benefits all of us. We spend hours every day online, so popping a Wii game into the TV is a good way for us to get up and move around. This portable TV has input/output ports so it will work with this and it also comes with ear buds, too. I know that the whole family will love having this portable TV along wherever we go, but no one quite so much as my husband. |
