game consoles, plasma hdtv Since last Wednesday, I have been getting my fill of Modern Warfare 2 on game consoles. Yesterday I brought my Xbox 360 and MW 2 over to my friends house who has a 52” Plasma HDTV.  At my place there is a smaller LCD widescreen HDTV so I was excited to see what the difference was between my smaller screen and his larger 1080p setup. As far as graphics went his screen was a bit brighter but the major difference was size. It is so awesome to play on a screen of that size. I have already beaten the campaign portion of the game but we started playing it over again so he could see some of the levels.



Those few levels turned into more and more and pretty soon a couple a hours had gone by and we had beat a quarter of the game. What impressed him was the cinematics. There is a really cool action story surrounding this game. There is this one level when the Russians invade a West Virginian suburban neighborhood and your squad has to take out the trash with a Stryker vehicle through a Country Club. It looked spectacular on his plasma HDTV. On any game consoles this is a shooting experience unlike anything I’ve seen before.
