My husband and I like to use our home theater for our romantic date nights. We used to go to the movies pretty often, but it got pretty expensive. So we decided to use our home theater instead. It saves money on admission, snacks and drinks, gas and babysitters. Plus it is a lot more romantic than going to a crowded theater. We put the kids to bed, then make a snack together, and snuggle on the couch to watch a movie. There are no strangers around, and we can just be alone to watch the movie. I love to sit on the couch with him and snuggle up under a blanket. That's something we can't do in theaters because of the hard armrests between chairs. We have a huge collection of movies to choose from, and sometimes we buy a new movie to add to it. Even if we buy a movie every date night, it's still cheaper than going out. I love having a home theater that we can watch every night if we choose to do so.
