Game Consoles Were for More Then Gaming After Christmas |

I am now back home from the Holidays but while back at the families, I spent the day before and after Christmas using game consoles for something more then gaming. It is amazing what game consoles can do these days. I am young, grew up with them and still can’t believe all that is possible. The day before Christmas, we all curled up on the couch and used the game consoles disc drive to watch Christmas Vacation. I am still trying to figure out where to get a sled saucer that can go that fast down a snowy slope. The day of Christmas, I turned to game consoles for the music.
After unwrapping presents and eating breakfast, we were sort of over listening to traditional holiday tracks. It had been a week of Christmas songs, all the favorites had played a few times so it was time for something new. Our uncle was over who loves rock music. I used the online streaming radio feature on my console to find some of the new bands he likes. In turn, I showed him some good ones like Cage the Elephant, heard above. To be fair my brother and I did battle it out in a digital war zone on a favorite first person shooter over the family room LCD widescreen HDTV. It was a great time.
