Run back into the diner and set the other turret up in the opening to go behind the counter. At this point, I am behind the counter with turrets to my right and left. They will do some serious damage to advancing enemies. It sounds really cool over a home theater.  I beat this on hardcore mode solo, without ever losing a turret. An ammo box is out the front diner door to refill if needed. Keep your eyes on the LCD widescreen HDTV for enemies sneaking up behind the gas station.
